How We Started
iris-perch began in 2014 when our founder noticed a gap in Melbourne's pet care landscape. Too many services treated animals as a commodity rather than the beloved family members they truly are.
What started as helping neighbours with their dogs during work hours has grown into a comprehensive pet care service. We have maintained the same personal touch that defined us from day one, even as our team has expanded.
Today, we care for over 200 pets across Melbourne each month, from energetic puppies to senior cats who need a gentle touch. Every member of our team shares a genuine love for animals and treats each pet as if they were their own.
